When can I return? Gracious service in a quaint hotel full of little nooks for a relaxing stay. Norcia is still recovering from the earthquake in 2016, but still retains charm with access to wonderful hiking trails. Palazzo Seneca demonstrates the resilience with its service, quality of the accommodations and very good food at its restaurant, Vespacia. You will find a library, outdoor seating, spa and welcoming community rooms. By train, you can arrive at Spoleto and for a reasonable fee, the hotel can arrange for a car for the 35-40 min. beautiful drive to the hotel...

I hadn’t realized that Norcia had been devastated by the 2016 earthquake when we booked our stay at the Palazzo Seneca.
We walked to the town square to find it in ruins. Then we saw the sign for the Palazzo Seneca and walked into an elegant hotel with exceptional service, beautiful rooms, and wonderful food.

We had a fabulous night in this stunning hotel. Norcia is such a beautiful place set in the striking Umbria landscape. The hotel is peaceful and warm and we felt very relaxed, not least because of the warm welcome and greeting from all the staff. I would recommend the Vespasia restaurant in the hotel and would suggest the Aria menu which leaves it to the chef to decide your meals. One glorious dish followed another; beautiful food using local produce. If you are in Umbria I would recommend coming to Norcia and staying in this incredible hotel. We look forward to visiting again sometime.
